Facilitating Reflection Using Experiential Learning Cycle During Community-Based Education Program

<p style="text-align: justify;">Reflective learning in community-based education (CBE) activities requires the role of a supervisor. The ‘intensive supervision’ based on Kolb's experiential can provide guidance for facilitating reflection CBE experiences through discussion. Accordingly, supervisors must receive training providing constructive feedback sessions to assist students reflecting. This study aimed determine effect using methods concept 'intensive supervision' supervisors. design used program evaluation with Kirkpatrick model levels 1 and 2. was divided into workshops mentoring cycle. questionnaire developed assess tutoring performance before after perceptions (n=10) (n=43) observers' observations during supervisor tutoring. Descriptive comparative data analyses were employed. trainees showed positive reactions training. students’ supervisors’ perception questionnaires significant difference who assessed Our results indicated that most ability facilitate changed following method. helps learn how become facilitators feel more assisted process.</p>
